Jason Mettley focuses his practice on employee benefits, representing multiemployer and governmental plan sponsors. He advises on plan design, drafting, and compliance with ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, and other laws affecting employee benefit plans. His work includes guiding clients through legislative changes such as COVID-19 relief laws, the SECURE Act, and APRA; representing plans in Department of Labor and IRS audits, examinations, and applications; and handling ERISA litigation, including beneficiary disputes and subrogation enforcement.
Jason is a member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the bar associations of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.
