Levi is a founding partner of Logan, Mettley & Newcomer, bringing more than 15 years of experience representing multiemployer benefit plans. As lead counsel to pension, defined contribution, health and welfare, and apprenticeship funds, he advises plan sponsors and fiduciaries on plan design, governance, compliance, and strategic operations under ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, and other federal and state laws.
His work includes drafting and interpreting plan documents, coordinating RFPs and vendor contracts, guiding clients through federal and state tax compliance, preparing DOL and IRS filings, and submitting Special Financial Assistance applications to the PBGC.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Logan practiced corporate, business, and estate law, and held roles with the City of Pittsburgh Housing Code Enforcement Office, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and Blueprint Communities.
Mr. Logan earned his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he received the W. Edward Sell and Cordelia F. Sell Scholarship and served on the Journal of Technology Law and Policy. He graduated cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in Psychology and was a varsity letterman in Cross Country and Track and Field.
